A special congratulations goes out to Dragons rookie defenceman, Will McLaughlin, as he was invited to the Team USA U18 Selection Camp for the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is a premier international tournament that features the best under 18 players in the world. It takes place in mid August in Brno, Czechia.
McLaughlin had a tremendous rookie season in the AJHL with the Dragons as he produced 29 points in 47 games played. This total led all Dragons defenceman and was fifth in AJHL rankings. The Colorado College (NCAA) commit was also signed by the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL during the season and will be off to their training camp to start the 2025-26 campaign.
