AJHL Scoring Leader Wyatt Noskey Commits to NAIT Ooks

The Olds Grizzlys are proud to announce that 1995 born Forward Wyatt Noskey has committed to playing for the NAIT Ooks for the 2016-2017 season.

“Wyatt came to us in the off season last summer in a trade with the Drumheller Dragons.  We were excited to get Wyatt knowing the upside that he had,” said Grizzlys Head Coach Dana Lattery.  “We knew he had a strong career leading up to Junior hockey and we were hoping that with the given opportunity and the right situation he would flourish. Wyatt came in here as a quiet presence to start the season. He led by example both on and off the ice. His accolades were obvious within what he accomplished in his hockey, as the league’s leading scorer, a feat that is very tough to obtain.”

“The greatest asset to our team and community is who Wyatt was off the ice. He was a natural born leader and a servant to those around him. He continues to lead the youth back in his home town. Wyatt is led strongly by his faith and will be a huge asset to the Ooks, which can hopefully keep the team on their current undefeated streak going into the 2016-2017 season.”
