The hometown boy recorded the first two-goal game of his AJHL career, including the game winner, on January 18th as the Oilers defeated the Olds Grizzlys 7-4.   With two goals and an assist, the game was also Bodnarchuk’s second three-point night of the season.    Riley was selected as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on January 20th with an assist and the game winning goal in a 5-2 victory over the Camrose Kodiaks.
