Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month – Devin McDonald

Camrose Kodiaks goaltender, Devin McDonald, is the Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for February 2015.  McDonald completed the regular season with a 9-0-1 record in February and a 1.34 GAA.  In his last 16 games, he recorded just one regulation loss for the Kodiaks and was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Player of the Game four times.

McDonald was also recognized as the Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month in September 2014.

Devin McDonald (Calgary, AB) is in a three-way tie for the top save percentage in the AJHL regular season (.924%) and recorded a 2.12 GAA to finish 3rd overall among all AJHL goaltenders.  The 20 year-old goaltender posted a record of 28-4-3 and 4 shutouts in the 2014-2015 season. 

McDonald is a three-year member of the Kodiaks and has committed to SUNY Geneseo for the 2015-2016 season.  McDonald and the Kodiaks  finished the regular season 1st overall in the Viterra AJHL South Division to earn a bye in Round One of the 2015 Gas Drive AJHL Playoffs.
