Forward Sean MacTavish of the Sherwood Park Crusaders is the Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for December 2013. MacTavish amassed 7 goals, 9 assists and 16 points over 8 games in December. He recorded two 4-point games, two 3-point games, and 2 game winning goals over the month.
Sean MacTavish was awarded the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game Award on December 11th following a 2 goal performance against Drayton Valley, and again on December 18th versus Bonnyville when he scored the game winner and three points.
The Edmontonian is 2nd in the AJHL Scoring Race with 49 points (21 G, 28 A), second only to teammate Nicholas Jones with 51 points. MacTavish is averaging 1.3 points per game in the first half of the season and has notched 5 game winning goals.
