The Brooks Bandits have set a new AJHL record with a 4-0 victory over the Canmore Eagles on Tuesday night. The Bandits 53rd win of the season sets a new AJHL record for Most Wins in a Single Season and Most Points in a Single Season (109). The record was previously held by the 2009-2010 Spruce Grove Saints with 108 points and 52 wins, a record also shared with the 1999-2000 Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
The Bandits have one game remaining in the regular season when they meet the Okotoks Oilers on Thursday night in Okotoks. Brooks has already secured a bye in the opening round of the 2013 AJHL Gas Drive Playoffs by clinching first place in the South Division.
