Crossing that financial barrier that so many kids in our community face is the purpose of the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program. During the 2009-2010 Brooks Bandits regular season the Chuck-A-Puck fundraiser raised $1,779.
Randy Patton of the Brooks Canadian Tire Store and Kathy Irwin Brooks Jumpstart Chapter president accept a cheque from Brooks Bandits assistant coach Brent Gunnlaugson and Bandits Coach/General Manager Ryan Papaioannou. All monies raised in the community remain in the Brooks Chapter.
The Bandits are pleased to announce this partnership established last season will continue into the 2010/11 season.
