Madison Smiley sent the Bandits home smiling after scoring in double overtime to lift Brooks to a 3-2 win over the Spruce Grove Saints in the Alberta Junior Hockey League Gas Drive Cup on Friday.
The 19-year-old defenceman helped to open the scoring when he fed a pass to Taylor Makin with 2:50 left in the first period.
