Bandits Ryan McAllister Named Alberta Ford Dealers Player of the Month

Brooks Bandits forward Ryan McAllister is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for October 2021.

Through 12 games in October, the 19 year-old Bandit scored 9 goals and 18 assists for 27 points – the most of all AJHL skaters through the month.   McAllister now leads the AJHL in points (40) and assists (26) with an average of 2.4 points per game in the regular season.

McAllister (London, ON) began the month with six points (2G, 4A) at the AJHL Showcase where the host Bandits picked up a win versus the Spruce Grove Saints and the Sherwood Park Crusaders. He moved on to a five-game goal streak from October 8th – 17th, including a season high five-point (1G, 4A) night on October 17th.

Ryan recorded nine multi-point games over 12 games in October and concluded the month on October 30th as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game with a three-point (1G, 2A) performance in a win over the Okotoks Oilers.

McAllister is committed to Western Michigan University of the NCAA Division I.

The Brooks Bandits were undefeated in October 2021 and have now won 15 straight games. The AJHL team is ranked number one in the latest CJHL Top 20 National Rankings and leads the AJHL Standings with a record of 16-1-0.
