The Fort McMurray Oil Barons played possibly their worst game of the post-season Thursday night in Brooks against the Bandits and are now behind in the AJHL Enerflex Cup final after getting beat 4-1 in game five.
“I thought (Brody) Hoffman played well; he gave us a shot through two periods there and we let him down in the third when we only needed one goal to tie it up,” said Barons captain Carson Cooper.
“I thought once again I wasn’t good enough and pretty well nobody was good enough. Our best players need to be our best players if we’re going to win.”
