In the opening game of a double header in Fort McMurray, he led the team to a 5-2 final over the Oil Barons with two goals and an assist on October 31st. The next night, Jalen scored his first AJHL hat trick and recorded an assist in a 6-5 loss to the Oil Barons. Bianchet was named as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game in both road matches.
