Brooks Bandits Wrap-Up Year at #1 in CJHL Rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Monday its final Top 20 Rankings for 2018.

Sitting on top of the list to wrap-up the year are the 2019 Canadian National Jr. A Championship-host Brooks Bandits (AJHL).  Winners of eight straight games, Brooks boasts an impressive .914 winning percentage while topping the AJHL standings with a stellar 32-3 record.

Remaining No. 2 in the 133-team CJHL is the Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL), who despite having an 11-game winning streak snapped over the weekend in a shootout setback, are still 21-1-1-1 on the campaign.

At 27-3-1-2, the Oakville Blades (OJHL) are tabbed at No. 3 in the country.

Having gone 8-1-1 in their past 10 outings has seen the No. 4 Cobras de Terrebonne soar to the front in the LHJAAAQ standings as they are 23-3-2 heading into the holiday break.

The No. 5 Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) sport a league-best .826-win mark and have gone 19-4 to date in the Maritimes.

The CJHL Top 20 Rankings will return on January 7, 2019.
