SHERWOOD PARK, AB: The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce defenceman Cade Christenson (’04) has committed to Penn State University (NCAA Div. 1) for the 2023/2024 season.

“Cade has a high ceiling and has shown continued progress in his game,” Crusaders head coach Evan McFeeters stated. “Penn State is getting a person dedicated to developing into becoming an impact player for their program in the future”.
“We are really excited for Cade,” echoed general manager Adam Sergerie. “He brings the right attitude, work ethic and mindset to the rink every day and he’s earned everything he’s gotten. Everyone you speak to that works with Cade on a day-to-day basis have nothing but praise for him. Penn State is getting a good one and Cade is going to an incredible program.”
The 2022/2023 season marks Christenson’s second in a Crusaders uniform. In his sophomore season, Cade has collected a total of 17 points (4 goals, 13 assists). As a rookie, he appeared in 51 games for the Crusaders, tallying 4 goals and 11 assists.
