Goaltender Dylan Wells of the Bonnyville Pontiacs is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of January 16th – 22nd. Wells went 3-1 over the week and allowed just 6 goals on 131 shots. Wells was awarded the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game in the Pontiacs only loss of the week.
Wells is 20-8-4 (W-L-OTL) on the season. The Pontiacs are currently in fourth place in the AJHL North Division with 67 points. The Pontiacs and Wells are 6-3-1 in the last ten games.
The 20 year-old netminder from Nashville, Tennesee is committed to Providence College for the 2012-2013 season.
