Jonathan Turk of the Okotoks Oilers is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the first week of February 2012. Turk scored 3 goals and 4 assists in two games against the Calgary Mustangs last week. Turk recorded the game winning goal in Friday’s win and was selected as the Pro Hockey Life Star of the Game in Saturday’s victory.
Turk is a 20 year-old forward and is in his third full season with the Okotoks Oilers. He leads the Oilers in points with a career high 55, and is among the Top 10 Scorers in the AJHL.
