The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening week of October 2012 is Clayton Petrie of the Calgary Canucks. Petrie recorded 2 goals and 4 assists in two games for the Canucks. The Canucks were 0-2 on the week, after Petrie scored the overtime winner against the Canmore Eagles on October 6th.
Petrie is a 20 year-old forward from Red Deer, AB. He is playing in his third AJHL season for the Canucks and is currently averaging 1.1 point per game.
