Drayton Valley Thunder forward, Frederic Tanguay, is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the opening week of 2013. Tanguay recorded two 3-point games to start the year, including 1 goal and 5 assists.
Frederic Tanguay and the Drayton Valley Thunder are currently riding a 5 game win streak following two consecutive victories over the Whitecourt Wolverines on the weekend. Tanguay was selected as the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game in the victory over the Wolverines on January 4th.
This is Tanguay’s first season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He is a 20 year-old forward from Ste. Justine, Quebec.
