Camrose Kodiaks goaltender Devin McDonald is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of January 7th – 13th. McDonald went 2-0 and turned away 74 of 76 shots on goal over the weekend. The Kodiaks defeated the Okotoks Oilers with a 1-0 overtime victory in front of their largest home crowd of the season on Saturday. McDonald made 36 saves for the shutout, his 2nd of the season. McDonald has posted 8 wins in his last 10 games.
Devin McDonald is in his rookie AJHL season. The 18 year-old from Calgary, AB has the best Save Percentage in the League at .939% and is second overall amongst AJHL goaltenders with a 1.93 GAA.
