The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week is Brooks Bandits goaltender Josh Davies. The rookie goaltender posted a 3-0 record last week with a 1.33 GAA and .96 SV% while facing 101 shots and allowing just 97. Davies was awarded the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game during two of last week’s three games (December 12 & 13).
Josh Davies (Guelph, ON) has recorded 8 consecutive wins for the Bandits and is 17-3-0 on the season, including 4 shutouts. The 19 year-old has helped lead the Bandits to a record of 9-1-0 in their last 10 games and a 3 game winning streak. The Bandits are 2nd overall in the Viterra AJHL South Division with 55 points (27-7-1).
