Canucks Brown Commits to Trinity Western University

The Calgary Canucks are pleased to announce that 1997 – born forward Brayden Brown has committed to Trinity Western University for the 2017-2018 season.

“Brayden is the 7th player from last year’s team to get a hockey scholarship and we are very excited for Brayden,” President Pat Loyer stated. “We got Brayden from the Edmonton Oil Kings and in his time with us showed his character both on and off the ice.  We wish him all the best in his athletic and scholastic endeavours.”

Brown joined the Canucks during the 2015-2016 season where he played 12 games with the team and recorded a goal and assist.   Last season Brayden was able to rack up 19 points (9 goals, 10 assists) in the 33 games he played, as well as contributing 2 points during the 2017 playoffs.

The Calgary Canucks organization would like to congratulate Brayden and his family on this opportunity and wish him all the best at Trinity Western University.
