Canucks Firm Up Hockey Operations Staff for 2019-20

Calgary, Alberta: The Calgary Canucks Junior A Hockey Club announced that they have firmed up their coaching and hockey operations staff heading into the 2019-2020 season. Returning to the team are Tyson Avery as Assistant Coach, and Ben Vandervies as Goalie / Video Assistant Coach. Wayne Andrews returns as well with expanded responsibility as Assistant General Manager and Head Scout.

?This is a critical time of the year as we prepare for the upcoming season and start to build our pipeline of prospects for the next several years. Having the full contingent of coaching staff on hand will definitely be a big help,” said Brad Moran, Head Coach and General Manager. ?Tyson?s work ethic, dedication and enthusiasm is infectious and he is a great asset to the team. Ben really stepped in and helped our goalies last season, and connected well with the players. Wayne is a Calgary Canucks alumni who fills a void we have had in our organization in recent years and brings a wealth of experience with him.?
