CAPTON COMMITS TO USPORTS

The Camrose Kodiaks are proud to announce that 2005 goaltender Carter Capton has committed to Trinity Western University to continue his hockey and academic career in USPORTS next season.
Capton joined the Kodiaks organization ahead of the 2024/25 season and quickly established himself as a dependable presence in the crease. His work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to improving every day have made him an important part of the Kodiaks program both on and off the ice.
Capton shared, “I’m extremely excited and thankful for the opportunity to continue both my education and hockey career at Trinity Western University. I’d like to thank my family, teammates, billets, coaches, and the entire Kodiaks organization for all of their support throughout my journey.”
Kodiaks General Manager Eric Kroetch added, “Cap has worked incredibly hard for this opportunity and has been a great representative of our organization during his time in Camrose. His dedication to his craft, calm demeanor, witty humor, and team-first attitude have helped him continue to grow both as a goalie and a person. We’re proud to see him earn this opportunity at the next level and excited to follow his future success.”
The Camrose Kodiaks, in partnership with United Sport & Cycle, would like to congratulate Carter and his family on this well-deserved accomplishment.
