Carter Wolski commits to Red Deer College

BROOKS, AB (May 4, 2019) ? Brooks Bandits defenceman Carter Wolski (Sexsmith, AB) has committed to attend and play for Red Deer College, beginning with the 2019-20 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) season, it was announced today.

Wolski, 21, recently capped off a 191-game Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) regular season career split between the Bandits and Grande Prairie Storm, in which he recorded 85 points (15 goals, 70 assists).

In three AJHL playoff runs, including three games played in the current ongoing 2019 Doyle Cup, Wolski added a further 20 games played for 211 total, adding a further four assists to his career point total as well.

Acquired by the Bandits in a trade early in the 2017-18 season, Wolski recorded a career high three points in a single game three times while playing with Brooks, including this season in his second return to Grande Prairie in which he scored a goal and two assists in a 10-2 Brooks win.

He is the second Bandit to commit to RDC?s college hockey program, after former leading scorer Ty Mappin who joined them two years ago.
