The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced today three injury replacements for the 2010 CJHL Prospects Game on December 7-8 in Dauphin, Manitoba.
Wellington Dukes (OJHL) defenceman Curtis Leonard will join Team East in place of Philippe Archambault of Laval (LHJAAAQ). Forward Kyle Dutra of the Upper Canada Patriots (OJHL) will replace Jesse Beamish of St. Michael’s (OJHL).
Mitchell Deacon of the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express will be replaced by Brent Wold of the Portage Terriers (MJHL) on Team West.
The CJHL Prospects Game was created to showcase the top 40 NHL draft eligible players in the CJHL. The event includes a two-game, total goal series between Team East and Team West, and attracts NHL scouts and representatives from several Canadian and American colleges and universities.
The 2010 CJHL Prospects Event will be hosted by the Dauphin Kings Junior A Hockey Team and Destination! Dauphin. CJHL Prospects Game #1 will be played at Credit Union Place on Tuesday, December 7th @ 7:00 PM, Game #2 will follow on Wednesday, December 8th at 7:00 PM. A pre-game practice will be held at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM each day.
A two-game ticket package is on sale now for only $20 (adults), or single-game tickets can be purchased for $12 (adults) and $5 (students). Scout packages are available for $30. Game tickets and VIP packages are available at Dauphin Kings home games and the Credit Union Place North Ticket Office.
