CALGARY, Alberta – The Canadian Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Children's Miracle Network Canada (CMN) and Pointstreak 5050 starting in the 2013-2014 season.
Beginning in October 2013, CJHL teams that use Pointstreak 5050 for their 50/50 raffles will now implement a CMN “Ask Program”. This “Ask Program” will see sellers of 50/50 ask purchasers if they wish to contribute $1 to the Children's Miracle Network of Canada. All proceeds raised will be directed by CMN to help support their mission to raise funds and awareness for local children’s hospitals. The CJHL will join a vast number of organizations that partner with CMN Canada and Pointstreak 5050 to raise money for children’s hospitals across North America.
“The CJHL is very proud to partner with Children's Miracle Network,” said CJHL President Kirk Lamb. “Our fans and communities will now have the opportunity to aid Children's Miracle Network in improving the lives of children and ultimately join in the mission to save lives.”
“We’re excited that the CJHL has partnered with us to bring further hope and healing to millions of children across the country,” said John Hartman, chief operating officer for Children’s Miracle Network Canada. “The 'Ask Program' symbolizes a commitment to helping children get the best in localized pediatric care. A $1 donation is all it takes to start making a difference.”

About Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network® raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals, 14 of which are in Canada. These hospitals, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. When a donation is given, it stays in the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital community, ensuring funds are helping local kids. Established in 1983, Children’s Miracle Network raises funds to support critical research, education, purchase life-saving equipment, and ensure excellence in care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
