CALGARY, Alta. ? The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday that forward Brodie MacArthur; Summerside Western Capitals (MHL) along with goaltenders Brady Parker; Okotoks Oilers (AJHL) and Matt Lenz; Steinbach Pistons (MJHL) have been selected its Gongshow Gear 3 Stars of the Month for January.
1ST STAR: BRODIE MACARTHUR, (F) SUMMERSIDE WESTERN CAPITALS (MHL) ? The 20-year-old Summerside, P.E.I., product racked up an incredible 28 points in just 10 games last month for the MHL-leading Western Capitals.
MacArthur scored seven times and dished out 21 assists to cap off a productive January, which earned him top player laurels in his league.
The highlight of his month was a seven-point performance vs. the Edmundston Blizzard where he notched a hat trick, that featured the game-winner, and doled out four assists.
He currently paces all MHL skaters in offensive production during 2019-20 with 103 points to his credit on 43 tallies and 60 helpers, in a mere 48 outings.
Of note, MacArthur?s next point will be his 353rd in the league, which will set a new MHL record for career points, surpassing the 352 former Halifax Lions/DQ Blizzard star Duane Saulnier racked up some three decades ago.

2ND STAR: BRADY PARKER, (G) OKOTOKS OILERS (AJHL) ? Parker was nearly unbeatable for Okotoks during the time frame as the AJHL Player of the Month honouree for January racked up an impressive 10-0-1 record.
The 19-year-old Calgary, Alta., concluded the time period with a 2.26 goals-against average, along with a .911 save percentage in his 11 appearances to help backstop the Oilers.
Included in his efforts were a trio of triumphs over the defending AJHL and national champion Brooks Bandits, along with picking up victories over two of the other top clubs in the 15-team loop, the Spruce Grove Saints and Bonnyville Pontiacs.
After suffering setbacks in his first two starts of the campaign, Parker has reeled off a stellar 22-2-3 run since then.
Parker was recently named a finalist for the AJHL?s Top Goaltender award for a second straight year.

3RD STAR: MATT LENZ, (G) STEINBACH PISTONS (MJHL) ? A stellar effort during the time frame saw the 20-year-old netminder, who hails from Grapevine, Texas, post a solid 8-1-1 record with a crisp 1.97 goals-against average and a nifty .920 save mark.
Those totals helped boast his numbers overall in his league as he presently tops all MJHL goalkeepers in wins (28); goals-against average (2.10) and save percentage (.924).
His efforts also saw him tabbed the MJHL Goaltender of the Month for January.
He also recently committed to attend Mercyhurst University in Erie, Penn., on NCAA Division I scholarship where he?ll attend school and compete with the Lakers? men?s program, who play out of the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
With his commitment, Lenz becomes the fifth Pistons goalie, in as many seasons, to earn a NCAA D-I scholarship, joining Nick Deery (Minnesota-Duluth), Roman Bengert (Lake Superior State), Matthew Thiessen (Maine), and his former goaltending partner Matt Radomsky (Holy Cross) as those to do so.
