Colten Mayor Commits to University of Western Ontario

The Whitecourt Wolverines are proud to announce that Captain Colten Mayor has committed to University of Western Ontario for the 2014/15 season.

Mayor, a native of St. Albert, Alberta came to the Wolverines this year and appeared in 55 games this season, collecting 31 Goals, 44 Assists for 75 Points while accumulating 172 Penalty Minutes.  In his first year in the AJHJL, Mayor was a co-recipient of the Ernie Love Memorial Trophy, which is handed out to the individual or individuals who lead the league with the most points in a season.

Before coming to the Wolverines, Mayor spent 4 seasons in the Western Hockey League, appearing in 228 games with the Red Deer Rebels, Regina Pats & Calgary Hitmen.

Mayor is the second Wolverines Captain to commit to University this year, as last year’s Captain Jerome Raymond has committed to McGill University for the 2014/15 season.

Colten is the fourth player this season from the Wolverines to have a commitment at the University or College Level.  Here are the following committed players:
