Crusaders Add Assistant Coaches Shawn Belle and Wendell Hodgson

The Sherwood Park Crusaders would like to announce that the organization has hired two assistant coaches for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

The Crusaders will be adding Shawn Belle & Wendell Hodgson to the Coaching staff.

Shawn Belle from Edmonton comes to the Crusaders organization after playing professional hockey over the past eleven seasons. He played in the National Hockey League with Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadians, Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche. He also has extensive playing experience in the American Hockey League. Most recently Shawn played with Färjestad BK in the Swedish Elite League, Zagreb in the KHL and Dusseldorf of the German Elite League.

Wendell Hodgson lives and conducts his business in Sherwood Park and joins the Crusaders with over twenty years of coaching experience. He spent five seasons as the assistant coach of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons, where he won the Royal Bank Cup in the 1999-2000 season. He also has extensive coaching experience at the minor hockey levels ranging from Atom to Midget levels.

Crusaders organization would like to welcome both Shawn and Wendell the Crusaders coaching staff.
