Crusaders Streak Upped to Six

Who would have guessed that losing nearly half of your team would be a recipe for success?

Certainly not Sherwood Park Crusaders head coach and G.M. Tim Fragle, who cautioned that his team would likely struggle out of the gate as they dealt with the loss of 12 players from last season who either aged out or moved on to college or Western Hockey League opportunities.

Fragle believed that it would take some time for the team to find its footing with so many fresh faces.

It took one game.

After losing their first match of their 35th anniversary season of playing out of the Park, the Crusaders have gone on a tear and have won six in a row.
