Drumheller, AB – The Drumheller Dragons are excited to announce that 21-year-old goaltender Chris Curr has committed to the Northland College Lumberjacks (NCAA Div.III) in Ashland, Wisconsin for the Fall of 2020.
Curr was acquired by the Drumheller Dragons in January after three seasons with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL). The St. Albert, AB native appeared in 81 career AJHL games for the Barons and Dragons. He also suited up in 17 AJHL playoff games (9-8) and posted a 2.58 GAA and .918 SV% in the post-season and was named to the 2017-18 AJHL North Division All-Rookie Team.
The Drumheller Dragons would like to congratulate Chris and the Curr family on this opportunity and wish him continued success in his academic and athletic pursuits.
