The Drumheller Dragons are proud to announce that Dakota Zaharichuk has committed to Grant MacEwan University for the 2015-2016 season.
Dakota has been with the Dragons for the last three seasons and has been a huge factor in the success of the team since his arrival. As the team's regular season scoring champion he was also a very strong leader on and off the ice.
Coach Brian Curran had this to say, “I am very proud and happy for Dakota as he had some tough decisions to make. I believe that Dakota will have a very successful College career. As one our best players in Drumheller, I look forward to his success with the Grant MacEwan Griffins. I wish Dakota all the best in his future as I know this is just the beginning for him.
