The Drayton Valley Thunder are excited to announce ’02 forward and Captain Daniel Kernaghan has committed to Mount Royal University.
Daniel will be joining the Cougars this fall playing along side Thunder Alumni as he competes in the Canada West division of USPORT.
Daniel spent 3 seasons with the Drayton Valley Thunder where he had milestones throughout the past season hitting his 100th AJHL game, 100 total career points as well as being tied for 10th in Thunder goals scored in a single season tying 2005/2006 Thunder Alumni Kael Mouillierat.
The Thunder Organization would like to congratulate Daniel on furthering his academic and hockey career and say thank you for all his contributions on the ice and in our community.
