Day One of the first-ever AJHL Development Camp included 80 athletes competing in on-ice sessions, fitness tests, and hearing from AJHL coaches in attendance.
Participants in the 1st Annual Camp will experience six practices, four games, and off-ice presentations by AJHL General Managers and Coaches. The first two days include off-ice sessions with:
- July 19th – AJHL Vice-President Fran Gow
- July 19th – South Division Coach Boris Rybalka
- July 20th – North Division Coach Tom Keca
The AJHL Development Camp Presented by Hockey Alberta is set for July 19-24, 2016 at the Edgeworth Centre in Camrose. The 2016 camp will feature invited 2000-born athletes who played in the Alberta Minor Midget AAA league this year, and who are not currently on the protected list of a Western Hockey League team.
