BROOKS, AB – The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are thrilled to announce defenceman Dominick Campione has committed to Stonehill College, one of the newest NCAA Division I programs.
Campione, 20, is currently in his third season with the Bandits, dressing in 55 games, tallying 20 points (4g, 16a). During his Bandit career, the Kolher, WI product has played in 120 regular season games, scoring 50 points (11g, 39a). Campione is a leader in minutes played by the defensive corps and leads the league leading penalty kill.
During the 2022 AJHL Playoffs, Campione dressed in 8 games, registering 3 assists. The 2002-born blueliner helped the Bandits win the 2022 AJHL Championship and Centennial Cup as Canada’s National Junior A Champions.
Located in Easton, MA, the Stonehill Skyhawks compete as an Independent after it was announced last off-season the school was elevating its athletic department to Division I.
