Eagles Continue to Sizzle

The Canmore Eagles once looked covered in a permafrost of losses but now they are the hottest team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Coming off their biggest win of the season on Friday night, Canmore didn’t miss a beat and defeated the Drayton Valley Thunder 5-2 on a chilly Saturday night to extend its winning streak to seven games. Canmore, which handed the league-leading Brooks Bandits a 4-3 shootout loss on Friday, is now 17-19-5 on the season and in fifth place in the South Division.
