Eagles Form Partnership with Mountain FM

The Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League are pleased to announce a new marketing partnership with Canmore’s Mountain FM 106.5 for the 2013-14 hockey season.
Mountain FM 106.5 will broadcast a total 24 Canmore Eagle games live this year with 4 games scheduled in September, 5 games in October, 3 games in November, 3 games in December, 5 games in January and 4 games in February.

“106.5 Mountain FM is proud to be the Canmore’s Eagles radio partner and broadcaster,” said Rob Murray, the station’s morning show host. “Tune in to hear select games throughout the season live on air, with play-by-play action hosted by Larry Shellian. Listen at your home, in your car or bring your portable radio and headphones to the arena and follow along.”

“We are very excited to form a partnership agreement with Mountain FM and look forward to working with them throughout the hockey season,” said Eagles Marketing Director John Ross. “The broadcast rights include pre- and post game interviews with our coaches and players, so our fans should be able to garner a little more insight into what is happening with the team from inside the dressing room. We believe that this broadcasting agreement will provide greater exposure and awareness for our hockey club in the Bow Valley and hopefully that will translate into higher attendance at the arena as the hockey season moves along.”

The Eagles next broadcast on Mountain FM 106.5 will be Wednesday night Sept. 18 when the Eagles travel to Calgary to face the Mustangs. Game time is 7:30.
