The Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month is Logan Ferguson of the Canmore Eagles. Ferguson compiled an 11 game point streak and 27 points (7G, 20A) through the month of February 2017.
Logan Ferguson (Calgary, AB) is second overall in the AJHL Scoring Race with 91 points (32G, 59A) and is averaging 1.6 points per game. In 11 games during the month of February, Ferguson recorded 8 multipoint games and was awarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game twice. He was also honoured as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the final week of February when he closed the month with 10 points (4G, 6A) in three games.
The Eagles Alternate Captain was named a finalist for the 2016-2017 Don McNabb Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the Most Dedicated Player in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The third-year veteran of the AJHL has committed to the Holy Cross Crusaders of the NCAA Division I.
The Canmore Eagles are 4th in the Viterra AJHL South Division with two games remaining and have clinched home ice advantage.
