The NHL has the Sutter brothers. Canmore has the Philps.
Noah Philp will become the third member of his family to suit up for the AJHL’s Canmore Eagles as the team launches its 20th season on Friday (Sept. 12) against the Whitecourt Wolverines at Alex Kaleta Arena.
Philp, 16, made the final cut and will join his older brother Simon on the roster this year. Middle brother Luke is currently attending a rookie try-out camp with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
