Fincaryk Commits to University of Alberta Golden Bears

The Lloydminster Bobcats are thrilled to announce Tanner Fincaryk has committed to play for the University of Alberta Golden Bears.

Fincaryk played his 20-year-old season with the Bobcats where he posted 21 goals and 26 assists for 47 points in 56 games. “Adding Finny to the lineup we wanted to give him as much opportunity as possible to be creative with the puck, he was able to produce offense for us all season and round out his 200’ game” said Bobcats General Manager and Head Coach Nigel Dube. During the Bobcats return to the post season Fincaryk posted 2 goals and 4 assists in 5 games. Over 4 seasons in the Alberta Junior Hockey League Fincaryk suited up in 181 regular season games to go along with 16 post season contests.

The Lloydminster Bobcats would like to congratulate the Fincaryk family on his commitment to the University of Alberta. Fincaryk becomes the eigth commitment this season for the Bobcats joining Ethan Aucoin (St. Cloud State), Tegan Skehar (University of Alaska Fairbanks), Mack Stewart (University of Calgary), Kolby Thornton and Hassan Akl (Aurora University), Zack Whittaker (Castleton University) and Zafir Rawji (MRU – Usport). Fincaryk becomes the Lloydminster Bobcats 14th commitment in the last two seasons.
