Frisbees and Bears to Litter Ice at Storm Games

If there is red on the ice in the Canada Games Arena on Friday night chances are it will be a Frisbee and not the result of a bloody nose.

The Storm, Co-op Gas Bars and the Heart & Stroke Foundation have teamed up for the fifth year in a row to Paint The Town Red.

Red Frisbees will be flying in the second intermission as part of the annual fundraiser.

“Paint The Town Red is another community support event the Storm is proud to be part of,” said Storm business manager Don Moon. “Heart attacks and strokes are one of the biggest killers of Canadians and anything we can do to help create awareness and help prevent heart attacks and strokes is a worthwhile cause.”
