Max GOTTLIEB played 53 games for the PONTIACS last season accumulating 4 goals and 21 assists. Max moved on to the Bloomington THUNDER of the USHL this season and committed to Ivy League BROWN University for 2015/16.
“I want to thank the Bonnyville PONTIACS for everything they have done for me in my development last season to allow me the opportunity to play in the USHL and now receiving an Ivy League school scholarship,” said GOTTLIEB.
The Bonnyville PONTIACS are proud of Max's great accomlishment and wish him continued success this season and further during his college career with the BROWN University BEARS.
Max GOTTLIEB becomes the sixth PONTIAC from last year's roster to receive an NCAA Division I scholarship joining Spencer FOO – Union, Jackson DUDLEY – AIC, Mike IOVANNA – U Mass/Amherst, Dan WEDMAN – Cornell and Sean MOSTROM – Denver. Added to that list is Stephen KLEIN currently attending and playing for the NCAA Division 3, Middlebury College Minutemen in Vermont.
Along with the seven NCAA commitments the PONTIACS also had Redford SWAN, Locke MULLER, T.J. CUNNINGHAM and Tommy BARSZCZ commit to NAIT, SAIT and Keyano College of the ACAC.
