Griffins Welcome Waseylenko

Matt Waseylenko has decided to attend MacEwan University and play for the Griffins under coach Bram Stephen. Matt was a leader and a captain for the Kodiaks over his Junior career in Camrose. He is the type of player that every coach wants on a team as he will do whatever it takes to make the team succeed.

“We are very proud of what Matt has decided to do and he is very deserving of this,” said Kodiaks General Manager and Head Coach Boris Rybalka. “He is a leader on and off the ice and he is going to help the Griffins in their goal of becoming a Champion.” Matt was looking at going the pro route but decided to get his education first and then see what the future holds. The Camrose Kodiaks organization wishes Matt the best as he moves on in his new life.

Congratulations to Matt and the Waseylenko family!
