Henke headed to Lethbridge

Brent Henke will be a member of the Lethbridge Pronghorns of the Canada West Division in the CIS beginning Fall 2011. This will not be Brent’s first time playing in the city of Lethbridge as he was a member of the Hurricanes in the WHL from 2008-2010. Henke also spent time with the Edmonton Oil Kings and Vancouver Giants before coming to the Saints where he was a major piece of the puzzle in capturing the 2011 AJHL Enerflex Cup. In 43 games played this season, Brent scored 14 times adding 7 assists for 21 points on the year. He will be the first graduating member of the Saints to suit up for the Pronghorns and is the 9th player to commit to a post secondary institution from the Saints this year.

“Brent had a complete performance in the playoffs, which added to the leadership he provided to the team throughout the post season,” praises Saints General Manager and Head Coach Jason McKee. “Brent rose to any challenge and played his best hockey when it mattered the most. The Saints organization wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.”
