Alex Young (Canmore Eagles) recorded a hat trick and Jordan Biro (Spruce Grove Saints) scored twice to complete a comeback win in a 5-4 victory over MODO (Sweden) on Sunday at the 2019 Junior Club World Cup in Russia. On the other end of the ice, goaltender Matt Davis (Spruce Grove Saints) turned away 21 shots and continued his outstanding performance at the tournament.
The AJHL is now 1-1 with their third and final game of the round robin scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th at 15:00 (6:00AM MDT) vs Davos. The game will be broadcast live on YouTube.
