The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce Captain Jessi Hilton has committed to the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds of the CIS for the 2012-13 season.
Jessi played parts of 4 seasons with the Crusaders and played his entire AJHL career in Sherwood Park. Hilton played 151 games as a Crusaders and totaled 73 goals, 75 assists for 148 points. He also accumulated 293 minutes in penalties. “Jessi has helped our team & organization both on the ice and off the ice in ways that can’t even be described, he will be definitely missed” says Crusaders GM/Head Coach Tim Fragle. Hilton is excited about his opportunity at UBC and the Thunderbirds will be getting a big, strong power forward that can produce offensive numbers and a player with strong leadership abilities.
