JALEN BIANCHET WINS AJHL SCORING CHAMPION AND LEADING GOAL SCORER AWARDS

Whitecourt Wolverines Captain Jalen Bianchet is the winner of the Ernie Love Trophy as 2025-26 AJHL Scoring Champion as well as the AJHL Leading Goal Scorer award. Bianchet recorded 87 points in 52 regular season games with 46 goals and 41 assists.

Bianchet (Pickering, ON) is a finalist for the 2025-26 AJHL MVP Award and AJHL Top Forward Award. The 2005-born forward was selected as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game 14 times through the regular season. He was awarded as the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month in October 2025 and as the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week on three occasions.

Jalen Bianchet set single season franchise records for most goals and most points by a Wolverine and now leads the franchise as the all-time goals (85) and points (174) leader. The three-year AJHL veteran posted 30 multi-point games over the season as well as a season-high 12 game point-streak totaling 23 points.

The Whitecourt Wolverines are the 2025-26 Alberta Junior Hockey League Regular Season Champions and winners of the Dave Duchak Trophy. The team will hold the top-seed throughout the 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs which open on Friday, March 20th versus the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

The Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Playoffs will see the top four teams in each division battle for the title of Division Champion. The South Division Champion and North Division Champion will then compete in the 2026 Inter Pipeline Cup AJHL Final.  Each series will be a best-of-seven with the highest placed seed playing the lowest placed seed in the division.
