James Miller to UNH Wildcats

The Olds Grizzlys announce '98 born defenseman James Miller has committed to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats for the 2017-2018 season. The UNH Wildcats play in one of the most premier conferences in all of NCAA D1 hockey, Hockey East.

“We are extremely excited for James and his family on such a prestigious accolade. He came to our team as a 16 year-old, and has blossomed into a great young man both on and off the ice. James was a drafted player in the WHL and was at a crossroads at the young age of 16 trying to decide between playing in the WHL or coming to Olds and pursuing a dream of acquiring a NCAA Scholarship. Miller's commitment in the classroom and on the ice helped him achieve this goal,” stated Grizzlys head coach Dana Lattery.

James Miller added, “I am very excited that I have committed to the University of New Hampshire. They are a great team with an awesome culture. I’m looking forward to doing anything I can to help them win a National Championship. None of this could have been possibly with out the help of the Grizzlys coaching staff, my teammates, my family, friends, and everyone who has helped mentor me to get to this achievement in my career.”
