Josh Corrow Commits to NCAA Division I Program

Wolverines Alternate Captain Josh Corrow has committed to attend the University of Alabama Huntsville and play for the Chargers. The New Port Richey, Florida native has played the last two seasons with the Wolverines, collecting two team awards. This season he was named the team’s Top Humanitarian and in the previous season he was named Top Rookie.

He has compiled 29 points in 112 games over the past two seasons and led all blueliners in points this past post-season with 4 points in 6 games versus the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. Josh will be joining the Chargers led by first-year Head Coach Lance West.

?We cannot say enough of what Josh has meant to our program the past couple seasons; even though he had opportunities to leave us, he stayed loyal to the Wolverines and his goal of attaining a Division I scholarship has been reached,? stated Head Coach Shawn Martin. ?Josh has worked extremely hard for this and it has shown in his development over the past two years.?

Josh had this to say about his commitment, ?I am very honoured to get this opportunity to play D1 hockey at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and very thankful to everyone who has supported me throughout this process.  Whitecourt will always be a second home to me, and I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, billet family and staff for making my two years there unforgettable.?

On behalf of the Wolverines organization, we would like to congratulate Josh and his family on this achievement and thank him for his service in Whitecourt.
