Lloydminster, AB – The Lloydminster Bobcats organization is excited to announce twenty-year-old defenseman Cole Jungwirth has committed to the Wilkes University Colonels. Jungwirth’s commitment to the NCAA Division lll program is for the 2021-22 season.
The Bloomington, Minnesota native joined the Bobcats during the 2019-20 season where he was known for his ability to shut down the opposing teams’ top lines and lead the team in blocked shots. The penalty skill specialist had played 42 games for the Bobcats prior to the team’s season coming to an end because of the COVID19 pandemic.
The Bobcats organization would like to congratulate Cole and the entire Jungwirth family on his NCAA commitment for next season! Jungwirth becomes the fourth Bobcat on the 2020-21 roster to secure post-secondary commitments for next season.
