Kylor Wall Commits to University Nipissing Lakers

The Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are proud to announce that 1997 born defenseman Kylor Wall (Edmonton. AB) has committed to the University Nipissing Lakers.

Located in North Bay, Ontario, the Lakers play in the U-Sports, Ontario University Athletics Conference under seven year Head Coach Mike McParland.  The Lakers have played in the OUA for eight seasons reaching the conference semi-finals in 2012-13.

Wall, 20, scored 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists) in 46 games played in an Oiler uniform and recorded five points (one goal, four assists) in 13 playoffs games in the franchise’s first ever South Division crown and berth in the Inter Pipeline Cup.

Acquired in a trade in the 2017 off-season, Wall previously played with the Calgary Mustangs where he served as the team’s captain and played three seasons with the Mustangs accumulating 44 points (15 goals, 29 assists) in 161 games.

The Oilers would like to congratulate Kylor and his family on his achievements and wish him all the best on his post-secondary hockey career along with his involvement with the team both on and off the ice and his dedication to the organization and in the community.
